Adding a business

The Businesses section of the PublishGo CMS allows you to create and manage business directories effortlessly, quick and precise search results. Includes advanced photo gallery features and supports Google maps. Have users submit their business using a simple form and publish them in a single click. To add a business, follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to the Administrator panel.

2. From the main menu, choose Marketplace. Then choose Businesses.

3. Click on the Add button.

4. Specify the required fields.

5. You can also add photos using below steps:
   a. Click on Add Photos button under Photo Gallery section.
   b. Here, existing photos are shown in Photo Library tab. Mouse over and select the photos to be added.
   c. You can also upload new photos from Upload Files tab.
   d. Click on Insert button once the photos are selected.
   e. You will see photos listed under the Photo Gallery section. Use drag and drop to reorder the photos.
   f. To set a featured photo, mouse over onto the desired photo and click on the Star icon. Featured photo will be used as a cover photo for your business.

6. Click on the Save button.

Below are the different fields used while adding a business:

Field	Description
Business Name	Enter the name you want to assign to the business.
Category	Choose the relevant category from the drop down, new category can be added from Marketplace > Businesses > Categories page.
Description	Input the description of the business from here, directly type or export from other sources. HTML editor can be used to obtain desired results, like making hyperlinks, formatting content and much more.
Opening Time	Specify the business timings.
Year Started	Specify the year of incorporation.
Address	Specify address of the business.
City	Specify city of the business.
State	Specify state of the business.
Zip Code	Specify zip code of the business.
Latitude	Click on "Set Address on Map" button after filling up all the address details, system will pick latitude value automatically.
Longitude	Click on "Set Address on Map" button after filling up all the address details, system will pick longitude value automatically.
Add Photos	Upload photos for the business, option for bulk photo upload from the same screen. Hover on the uploaded photo to set a featured photo or to remove it.
Phone	Specify contact phone.
Email	Specify contact email.
Website	Specify business website.
Deal / Coupon Image	Upload the image for any deals or coupons from here.
Start Publishing	Set date in calendar to publish the business.
End Publishing	Set date in calendar to remove the business from front end.
Active	To make the business live, select this check box.
