Creating a gallery

The Galleries section in the PublishGo CMS offers powerful tools which accommodate multiple images upload to store and manage your website photos with slideshow enabled. To create a gallery, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to the Administrator panel.

  2. From the main menu, choose Media. Then choose Galleries.

  3. Click on the Add button.

  4. Specify the required fields.

  5. To add photos, click on Add Photos button under Photos section.

  6. Here, existing photos are shown in Photo Library tab. Mouse over and select the photos to be added.

  7. You can also upload new photos from Upload Files tab.

  8. Click on Insert button once the photos are selected.

  9. You will see photos listed under the Photos section. Use drag and drop to reorder the photos.

  10. To add description for photos, mouse over onto the desired photo and enter description in textarea below the photo.

  11. To set a featured photo, mouse over onto the desired photo and click on the star icon. Featured photo will be used as a cover photo for your gallery.

  12. Click on the Save button.


Below are the different fields used while creating a gallery:

Field Description
Gallery Title Enter the title you want to assign to the gallery.
Section Choose the desired menu for which gallery is to be published. New menu can be added from Website > Menus page.
Description Enter the description about the gallery.
Featured To display the gallery on home page, select this check box.
Active To make the gallery live, select this check box.
